Mona explains how Life Coaching works

When you contact me, we will have a short conversation to make sure coaching is what you are looking for and that I sound like someone you would like to work with.

We then set a date for the first coaching session during which you will be able to find out more about coaching and how it might help you and where we will get a sense of whether we can work well together. This is important because the quality of our working relationship is key to you making the progress you wish to make.

If you decide to work with me, we will agree to meet for a set number of sessions; usually 6 over an agreed period of time. Each session is for 1 hour for which I charge £50.

During session 6, we will review progress and it will be time for you to decide whether you wish to continue with the coaching, stop or take a break.

What is my coaching approach?

During our coaching time together we will follow the GROW coaching model. Very simply, this is a cycle we follow through the sessions and it works like this:

G

I help you decide what your

Goal

      or goals are

R

      We clarify what your

Reality

is - how things are at the moment

O

      We explore and identify your

Options

      for change

W

      You decide what you

Will

    do to achieve your goals.

How do I work with you?

You know what is best for yourself and I will help you uncover your own answers, decide what you want to achieve and how you will get there. To do this I will:

Listen

      - carefully to what you say about yourself and what you hope for

Ask

      - lots of questions to seek to understand you better and to help you understand yourself better

Challenge

      - make sure you do not distract yourself from what you want to achieve and that you do not 'get in your own way'

Support

    - encourage you, step-by-step, to overcome obstacles and find your way forward.

Mona : a brief biography
My name is Mona Saad and I have over 20 years experience helping individuals to make their relationships work and to make new decisions about their personal or work life. This help allows those I work with to deal more easily with conflict and be more at peace with themselves and with others. I focus on making relationships work because I believe that everything we do or all that we are is about relationships; whether with others or with ourselves.

I have gained this experience supporting relationships between family members, friends and neighbours, colleagues, employees and their managers as well as professionals and their customers. My experience of workplace relationships has been gained in various private, charitable and public sector settings. In all this time I have never stopped believing in the power of simply listening and seeking to understand one another. What comes from that might sometimes be unexpected but is always positive.
